Hi, we’re Romy and James, Ms. Bierbower bloggers. We are going to tell you about what we did this week.
This week in Reading we are reading “Chester and Gus”. We are working on making inferences with Chris Van Alsberg’s books. This week in Writing we are making are real essays! In our new unit of math, we are switching classrooms. Some people go to Mr Howe’s class, Mrs. Anshell’s class, and Mrs. Michael’s class. Others are staying in Ms. Bierbower’s class. We are working on fractions and decimals. The 5th graders did a wax museum! On Friday, we went to the 5th grade classrooms and saw the projects the 5th graders worked so hard on. We got to learn a little about a person in history. On Thursday, the orchestras got together and did a great performance. Congrats to all of the string players! (See pictures below!) We had a fun week! Hi! Our names are Romy and James. We are the bloggers in Miss Bierbower’s 4th grade class. We will be telling you about what we did this week.
In math we have been working on division with remainders. We read a book called remainder of 1. This week in Science we worked with electromagnets, light bulbs and motors. Miss Bierbower is reading us Chester and Gus. We are working on another word sort. We also learned about inferencing and practiced making inferences about Chester and Gus. We were working on essay writing and essay mini stories. Our color is orange. On Wednesday, we met up with Mrs. Walsh’s class and Mrs. Byrd’s class. We made hands that said kind things to the hard-working office staff. |
