A Day Blog:
10/29 Let’s review the week! In math this week we did IXL, did work in our math books, and did math zoom meetings. In reading we are finishing our book club books and we are predicting how the story will end We are drafting small moments for our characters and making changes to make them better We had a lot of fun at home. We did work in IXL and did math in our math books. We started new subjects, literature and art and had a lot of fun. And also finished our book club books! In conclusion we had a lot of fun and can’t wait for next week!!! We had a great week and here’s our blog! This week in math we had a great time! We got to do some work in our math books and got to play games on our computers. In class we have been learning about character traits, predictions, and the theme of the story In writing we are developing the character traits, actions, and dialogue to help imagine the story in the best way possible This week at home we did some fun and challenging activities! We did more work writing our stories, did some fun math stuff ,and read in our book club books. We had a great week filled with fun and challenges, have a fantastic Friday! For reading we read more of “Front Desk”and we also did a lot of read to self For writing we did reading journal We did our math book and reading journal and spetions. Let’s review the week! In math, we have been focusing on prime and composite numbers. We are trying to tell the differences between them and explain. For reading we did book clubs over zoom. And talked about the problem and plot of the story. At home we did science zoom and we learned about animals and their survival skills. We also learned about folk music in music class. On Tuesday, we did the reading MAP test. On Thursday, we did the math MAP test. All of us tried our best! We hope you are proud! I hope you’ve had as much fun as we did! For reading we got some books for book club three types of books the first is “i can make this promise” the second is “my Life as an ice cream sandwich” the third book is”my name is maria isabel” We are starting to make our realistic fiction stories.
