In math we played close to 7,500 . we also made number posters with factors and factor rainbows for numbers 1-36 we also went on dreambox and khan academy and number corner.
In reading we did pronouns and antecedents. We finished our vocabulary -y -ly -ily. We’re also starting American revolution historical fiction book clubs next week.
we are writing realistic fiction stories.We use story arcs. Now we’re adding setting, action, dialogue and sound effects.
In social studies we read the poem Midnight Ride Of Paul Revere and we had to translate it into kid language. We read about Patriots and Loyalists. Patriots wanted independence and Loyalists wanted to stay with the king.
In tech most of us finished our digital storybooks. Hooray!
Every last Friday of the month we meet up with our color crew and today we are going to be meeting up with our color crew. We are orange and so is Mrs. Walsh’s class and mrs. Byrd’s class.
In math we made multiplication and division models and some of them are number line, area model, ratio table and a tile array.
In reading We are still reading mr Lemoncello’s library. We finished working on nouns and started vocabulary. We are learning about words that end in -y -ly and -ily.
In writing We are working on our characters and scenes for our realistic fiction stories.
For social studies we learned about the Boston Tea Party. We talked with somebody from Boston on skype. We show the ship they were on.
We are writing digital story books in tech and in encore lit we are learning about Greek gods.

In math we did the standard algorithm for addition and subtraction and played close to 1000.
In reading Mrs Bierbower read to us Escape Mr. Lemonchellos Library. We also learned the different kinds of nouns.
In writing, first we wrote a story about a photo. Second we did some free write and to conclude we wrote small stories from our life.:)
We learned about the 13 colonies. We did a project with a scenario where we had to figure out how to run the school without adults and there’s a pet shop owner that makes all the rules.
