Hi! We are Romy and James, the bloggers. We are going to tell you what we did this week.
This week we had Map Testing! On Monday, we had math, and on Wednesday, we had reading. Everyone did great and took their time! In math we are switching classes. We are working with fractions and decimals. We are also learning more math games. In reading we are still reading The Phantom Tollbooth. In writing we are still writing essays. We started another essay where we got to choose if we wanted to do a persuasive essay or a personal essay. We had a very good time at the 4th Grade performance singing, and Ms.Weismehl said it was one of the best 4th Grade performances she’d ever seen! We all had a lot of fun. Have a great weekend! Welcome back!Welcome back to school after a long Winter Break! We all had fun vacations (and stay-cations). This is what we did this week!
All the fourth grade classes watched a live stream of the Carmen SanDiego game show on Tuesday! There were figurines and fedoras that the teachers gave out. That was so nice of them! On the livestream, they had games and activities. We even got to see Gina Rodriguez, the person who is going to play Carmen on the TV show! In Math we are still switching classes. We are all learning different things about fractions and mixed numbers. Ms. Bierbower is reading us The Phantom Tollbooth. We also worked more on inferencing. In Social Studies we are learning about slaves and how the civil war started. In Writing we are working on persuasive essays. This week was exciting. We had lots of fun! |
