In reading we are doing day 6 in bookclub and we also got new vocabulary words. In math we started doing math rotations and we are doing a new game called dragons gold. We also finished our first math unit! In writing we did our writing celebration we read our story book to Mrs. Byrds class,they were very good listeners. (Look below to find pictures) We learned about the Treaty of Paris and the constitution.We are going to play bingo to review our American revolution events. We also did tug of war to see the difference between the British and the Continental troops. We are wrapping up our digital storybooks. The book fair is starting! We are so excited! This week in reading we read 1 chapter of Mr.Lemoncello’s library. We are also working on the book club days 3,4. In math this week we played four in a row, arrays to 100, cover up,the multiple wheel,spinning around multiplication, and close to 7,500. We are also about to learn a new game called dragons gold. In writing this week we are finishing up our realistic fiction books and on the 18th we are having Mrs. Byrds class over so we can read our stories to them. HOORAY! In social studies this week we’re learning about Valley Forge and we learned how to be a soldier in the FREEZING cold. Check out the picture below of us at "Valley Forge". We are like never getting back to Mr. Lemoncello's! We started our historical fiction book clubs this week. We are learning factors and multiples. We also learned 4 new games which are called cover up, arrays to 100, the multiple wheel and spinning around multiplication We are still writing our realistic story books. We learned the french and indian war, the American revolution, the Boston tea party,the Boston tea party, the Boston Massacre and King George the III, Lexington and Concord, and the Declaration of Independence. We made rocks in art class.We made tablos in drama. Were about to finish Digital Story books. We are still learning about Greek gods and goddesses. |
