In math we played games with partners and learned the array method for multiplication and thats really pretty much all we did In reading we went through our regular rotations and that's pretty much it. We practiced main ideas and details. We are finishing up on our stories and we are having our writing celebration on Friday In social studies we worked more on maps and studied on different kinds of maps with a partner. In color crew we Colored on rocks and and wrote kind things on rocks. Bye peeps

We had a pre-assessment and we played math games with partners We are working on our realistic fiction stories, we have to finish hem by the 17 we are having a writing celebration on the 18 and share your stories We are still reading mr.lemoncello's library in class it is getting super exciting they are trying to escape. In our reading groups we are starting nonfiction books about mummies, cowboys, zoos, and natural disasters. We are using motors and putting pieces of paper on them to make the paper spin, and we drew on the papers to make them look cool with designs We had a author visit with David Biedrzycki and he was super funny and really good at drawing. We did a math assessment then reviewed it with ms.Bierbower. Then we did seesaw and finished your assignments. When You where done you got to go on to dreambox. We made windmills in groups and tested them by seeing if they would spin when the fan blew at them. Then, we tested if the windmill could carry stuff. We had rotations in groups that we went to and did different things at. We worked on our realistic fiction stories and started writing them on our laptops. We also wrote sentences in our patterns of powers books. We started a new number corner chart this month with mr.Boyle (Brendan the number conerr teacher). |
