Hi, welcome back to the blog Today. We have some exciting news for you today coming by Linna and Zaim.
For Tuesday Linna showed us all about the Mooncake Festival. She showed us a read aloud on youtube of a story why we celebrate Mooncake Festival. Then she told us about the different kinds and colors of mooncakes. In math we did some more tile array open number line and and ratio table. In Reading we finally beat our goal in Reading Stamina for getting to 20 minutes. Now we don’t do Reading Stamina. We are practicing stop and jot in our chapter books really quick. We edited our work for our writing story arc REALISTIC FICTION WRITING. In studies we got to learn about LatinX heritage month and finish up MAPS So ya that's what we did in social studies. About like on Thursday or Wednesday we did Zones of regulation about our feelings and Today we started something new for something new we did for our morning meeting. We have a clip and a popsicle stick and we put the clip on one of the colors like green, blue, red and yellow. In ART we got to make some edits on our stories that we made and we got to put in some colors

We are Zaim and Linna and we are here to tell you about what we did this week.
Hello you are probably thinking what is this well let me tell you something this week we did reading stamina and today friday we sota beated our record. In Writing we thought about a topic of what we are going to write for a story later on this year. We wrote the problem of the story, the settings, our main characters outside features and our main characters inside features, a small moment story of a little part of our story and our motivations and struggles our character has. This week what we we did in math we learned about tile arrays open number lines and ratio tables In social studies we did a zoom with Alexander's grandpa and we peeled an ORANGE. This week in social studies in drama we added something called donkey, elephant, horse, rabbit. In Music we learned a new dance. In Art we continued our comic books. We filled up our fuzzy jar and we all agreed on having a arts and crafts party and we did crafts for 45 minutes in the morning so go and check out the pictures below! I Linna am going to tell you about what we did this week.
In Reading we did our Reading Journal for homework and we also did Reading Stamina after lunch and see if we can beat our record from the day before. In Writing this week we wrote Small Moment stories about once in our life. In Math we did our one and only Number Corner. We also started to do pages in our Student Book. In Social Studies this week we learned about where the South, North, East and the West are. In Specials we had Art, Science and Drama. In Art we did our Comic books. In Science we went outside in the sand to see how big is dry sand and the different sizes. We put the small sand in one bucket and the big sand in the other. In Drama we did Wax Museum and Elephant, Rabbit and Horse. This is your bloggers Linna and Zaim. Today we are going to tell you what we did this week.
This week in Reading we did Reading Stamina. In Reading Stamina we read to ourselves. We read books and time ourselves so we can beat our record and we do this each and every day. In writing this week we did a Writing for what we did in the one and only year of covid. We wrote about what we did and bad and good things about the year that covid happened. We also wrote a Realistic Fiction book that has happened in our lives. This week in Social Studies we did the maps and we had to figure out what was odd about a map. We had to tell what we noticed about the map. This week in math we did Number Corner. We also did a slide named My Pet Number Project. This week when we did Drama, Art, Music we got to do lots and lots of stuff we got to make a Self Portrait in Art. In Drama we learned about ecosystems. They are like a team. In Music we got to complement each other. |
