Surprisingly, the weather’s pretty nice!
We did a bunch remainder word problem packets Now Melody is studying to get into a quiz team We are trying to get our realistic fiction stories done by next Friday 😯 We made volcanoes , 🌋 in the sand… AND THEY ERUPTED! Of course there was not real lava but we just added our good friend H2O it has mostly the same effect. Well we're never getting this weather again so let's just wait for snow……. Why. Won’t. It. Well get out those turkeys because it’s thanksgiving. I’m thankful it’s Friday. Check out the Halloween pictures below!
In out of my mind, Melody gets a medi-talker to help her speak to people without making them confused. We are still working on our FANTASTIC nonfiction writing 😎(it’s taking us a long time😅) In math, we are learning about remainders and we also read a book called a remainder of one. In social studies we went into different classrooms and learned about the history of Illinois.(It’s called map day. It’s not a day full of MAP tests.) Well have a great thanksgiving folks! Welcome to the week with two half days and no school day!
We had a math quiz.😦 (it was one page) Melody has met a lady named Mrs. V that can help her when she rolls off her wheelchair. We are continuing very successful realistic fiction stories. We are having a Halloween parade🎃 so if you want to you can wear a costume (No masks or “weapons” such as a lightsaber or a fake sword but you can bring smaller things like wands.) Well this is pretty short compared to the rest of the blogs. well have a great 3 day weekend!😃 Welcome back to the not snowy day!
Why won’t it snow already?! It's very cold so why won't you give us the powdery white stuff?! Oh yeah.. it’s not winter…anyway, welcome back to the not snowy blog! For math we had a quiz (thankfully it was only one page 😮💨) We finished front desk so now we are reading out of my mind by Shanon M. Draper. It’s about a girl who has Cerebral Palsy. That means that Melody (the main character) can’t speak or walk but she is very smart. But it is sad because she can not communicate with others… Yet We are still finishing our nonfiction books and fixing the kinks. And I think that were doing pretty good! For social studies we are learning more about Cahokia, which is the first city that had domesticated dogs. We are also learning about Jamestown. Just so you know its not about our classmate James. Unfortunately Mr. Kirby is leaving our school. (He was our second music teacher😢) Well that’s pretty much it so remember this. Live laugh and..WHY. WON’T. IT. SNOW?! Welcome back fellows.😎
Well its getting closer and closer to to all Halloween so you know what that means… Ghost stories! It was a dark and stormy night, and we all. DID. MATH FACTS!!!!! During reading we finally finished front desk! (It was a pretty good book to be honest.) Once upon a midnight dreary… While I pondered weak and weary… We learned about the first domesticated dogs in Illinois! Grrrrrrr… 🐕 For Spanish we learned more about dia de los muertos. (That’s a Mexican holiday just so you know…) Ok that was not scary but anyway… Have a good weekend! Today is a booutiful day!
During math we had 2 tests. One was the fact test and the other ones was a regular assessment. We did not read any Halloween stories. We read front desk. (As usual) For writing we are making realistic fiction stories that we wish existed in the world. On Monday we have art, on tuesday we have drama, on wednesday we have music and spanish, on thursday we have science, and on Friday we have music and spanish again. Goodbye now! Have a great weekend! 👻 Brrrrr… its cold outside🥶. Anyway welcome back to th-the b-b-b-blog.
And we're back again! Did you miss us? We did a soft start on Monday and that means we got to read and/or have free time! (PS: we don’t do that every Monday unfortunately…🥺) Look at pictures below! We played math games with spinners on the iPad. We FINALLY went to the itc. (that’s the library.) We were learning how to write realistic characters (so we did not write about a tony the vampire ™️ or crazy banana man.( Ps:that actually happened) We’re studying coal 🪨⛏ in Illinois. We hope you have a great weekend! Good-bye summertime and hello fall.🍁 OK so we need to spice up somehow because like the ratings are down really so we need to add the paprika baby. yeah totally but how are we going to do that oh wait was I using voice type?
We had to do a bunch of multiplication games on the iPad. We learned about a Cree tribe in Canada and their culture. They do something called a Powwow. It’s sort of like a dance but they wear fancy cloths and their are three types of dances. In Social Studies we learned about past Illinois Transportation. In writing we were gathering ideas for writing are realistic fiction stories ps: we don’t have school on Monday because it’s the first day of Rosh Hashanah. Gosh it’s getting cold outside well have a merry weekend folks Welcome back to the weekly blog. We missed you!

The setting in front desk is a motel. We had another lesson with Ms. Lane for our iPads. Have a good weekend everybody! And we’re really bad at editing so if we get cut off in a sen- Welcome back fellow humans were going to talk about a lot of stuff so lets get into it
We had two map tests and they were reading and math. We read more of Front Desk and it’s about a Chinese girl named Mia running the front desk of a motel. Did you know that if you flatten out a globe you will not get a map of the world. If you want a map the world you will have to distorted Other stuff you should know about. Ms. Lane came in a came in and gave us a few lessons about the iPads. We learned about share’o and share’go. In conclusion we had great week now we gotta take a nap |
