Does anybody read these?????
In math some people are going to different classes and we are all learning about geometry. We are still reading “Running Out Of Time” and we are practicing finding themes of short passages. We are writing the “introductions and conclusions” in our season essays. We finished up volcanoes and stuff. We are just doing the usual This Month's events: Fun fair, black history month, valentine's day,Bus driver appreciation day, president's day. Ze End

Welcome back we are sorry if we are repeating ourselves a lot(also the title was a Star Wars reference).
We kept working on decimals and fractions. We’re reading, “Running Out Of Time”, the subject we are doing Emotions & Evidence. We’re turning our boxes and bullets into body paragraphs. In science we are talking about the effects a volcano can make. Have a nice weekend also next title might have a Thor reference. Welcome back to another blog with your hosts Ian and Rodrigo!
In math we’re learning how to convert decimals and fractions. During read aloud we are reading a new book called “Running Out Of Time” We’re still doing boxes and bullets and we are also practicing writing essays. We’re still learning about volcanoes. That’s it for the week, have a nice weekend also report cards are coming next week Happy late New Years!
We are learning about decimals and how to add and subtract them. We are (still) reading Chester and Gus as a class. We are learning about boxes and bullets to turn it into a paragraph (5 sentences) In science we are learning about volcanoes🌋. I guess we ran out of time so The End. (Hope everyone had a happy new year!) Hello it is snowing but it is very slushy snow well at least it is here around school. Also this is Rodrigo and Ian sadly we switched jobs so James and Elise are now schedule switcher and trash monitor. For read aloud we are reading a new book called “Chester and Gus.” In math we are studying fractions like improper fractions and mixed numbers In science we are studying about weathering and erosion In every special we are talking about not blurting out Like our good friend James once said(multiple times) “Why. Won’t. It. Snow?!”(It was snowing hard just then.) Also Sorry there wasn't a blog last time, also does anybody read these? Surprisingly, the weather’s pretty nice!
We did a bunch remainder word problem packets Now Melody is studying to get into a quiz team We are trying to get our realistic fiction stories done by next Friday 😯 We made volcanoes , 🌋 in the sand… AND THEY ERUPTED! Of course there was not real lava but we just added our good friend H2O it has mostly the same effect. Well we're never getting this weather again so let's just wait for snow……. Why. Won’t. It. Snow?! Well get out those turkeys because it’s thanksgiving. I’m thankful it’s Friday. Check out the Halloween pictures below!
In out of my mind, Melody gets a medi-talker to help her speak to people without making them confused. We are still working on our FANTASTIC nonfiction writing 😎(it’s taking us a long time😅) In math, we are learning about remainders and we also read a book called a remainder of one. In social studies we went into different classrooms and learned about the history of Illinois.(It’s called map day. It’s not a day full of MAP tests.) Well have a great thanksgiving folks! Welcome to the week with two half days and no school day!
We had a math quiz.😦 (it was one page) Melody has met a lady named Mrs. V that can help her when she rolls off her wheelchair. We are continuing very successful realistic fiction stories. We are having a Halloween parade🎃 so if you want to you can wear a costume (No masks or “weapons” such as a lightsaber or a fake sword but you can bring smaller things like wands.) Well this is pretty short compared to the rest of the blogs. well have a great 3 day weekend!😃 Welcome back to the not snowy day!
Why won’t it snow already?! It's very cold so why won't you give us the powdery white stuff?! Oh yeah.. it’s not winter…anyway, welcome back to the not snowy blog! For math we had a quiz (thankfully it was only one page 😮💨) We finished front desk so now we are reading out of my mind by Shanon M. Draper. It’s about a girl who has Cerebral Palsy. That means that Melody (the main character) can’t speak or walk but she is very smart. But it is sad because she can not communicate with others… Yet We are still finishing our nonfiction books and fixing the kinks. And I think that were doing pretty good! For social studies we are learning more about Cahokia, which is the first city that had domesticated dogs. We are also learning about Jamestown. Just so you know its not about our classmate James. Unfortunately Mr. Kirby is leaving our school. (He was our second music teacher😢) Well that’s pretty much it so remember this. Live laugh and..WHY. WON’T. IT. SNOW?! Welcome back fellows.😎
Well its getting closer and closer to to all Halloween so you know what that means… Ghost stories! It was a dark and stormy night, and we all. DID. MATH FACTS!!!!! During reading we finally finished front desk! (It was a pretty good book to be honest.) Once upon a midnight dreary… While I pondered weak and weary… We learned about the first domesticated dogs in Illinois! Grrrrrrr… 🐕 For Spanish we learned more about dia de los muertos. (That’s a Mexican holiday just so you know…) Ok that was not scary but anyway… Have a good weekend! |
